Follow-Up On Last Month's Wild Experience Speaking

Last month I shared with you how I was getting ready to speak in Wisconsin for the Associated Builders and Contractors Chapter when I started sweating profusely and even had to lie on the floor back stage. I didn't think I could even move to get up and speak. The idea popped into my mind to say a little prayer and then focus on energizing myself. I did it and immediately the sweating stopped and I got up a couple of minutes later and presented four programs that day.

I received an email from a reader asking what kind of prayer I did. This is what I want to share with you. From my experience I don't think it matters what the exact words are that you use or who or what you address them to. I think it's enough that you have a belief system and address your thoughts and prayers to whatever is consistent within your belief system.

The second question was how did I energize myself? Those of you who have experienced the program I do with the muscle checking will realize we have an energy around us and within us. All you need to do is visualize and think of a flood of energy coming into you. You might want to practice it right now so you can get a feel for it. This way if you need to energize yourself in the future you'll be comfortable with how to do it.

Another Option For Dying

With all the controversy about Terry Schiavo going on, I want to share with you a different perspective that is personal. It's about my Dad. He died just a week and a half ago on March 25. He was ninety and was living in a nursing home. Elizabeth, my fiancée, and I visited him on March 20. The personnel at the nursing home said he had refused breakfast that morning and they had just put him on oxygen and he was sleeping.

We attempted to "wake Dad up" but we couldn't and we realized he was getting close to the end. We talked to him and told him it was okay to leave his body, that my brother and I and our families would be fine. We told him he'd feel better without the continued weight of his body and he gave a sigh of relief. As we were about to leave, Elizabeth said to Dad that this was probably the last time we would be seeing him. Dad's eyes shot open and he looked deeply into Elizabeth's eyes and then into mine. I told Him I loved him and always would. It felt like he and I connected at a soul level. Then he closed his eyes.

Dad had simply made his own decision, without talking to anyone, to stop eating or drinking. He slept most of the time and was even taken off all his medications. He had no pain. He had no discomfort. Six days later at 10 pm on Friday, he just stopped breathing.

To me, Dad chose when and how he would die and he died with a peaceful ending. So…I send my prayers to my Dad. I also send my prayers to Terry Schiavo and to both sides of her family.

What Surgeons Leave Inside
Dr. Julian Whitaker in his newsletter reported an amazing fact that every year, 1500 clamps, sponges and other tools used during surgery are accidentally left inside the patients. So…if you're going in for surgery, remind the surgeon to check his list three times. You don't want to start setting off metal detectors at airports.

A Natural Alternative To Viagra
Dr. Julian Whitaker in his newletter reported about a study with 40 men who were given a combination of 1.7 grams of L-arginine and 80-120 milligrams of Pycnogenol. The men experienced improved erectile functioning. So…if this is an issue for you or a loved one, you might want to experiment with this combination before you go the Viagra route.

Use Calcium To Reduce Polyps That Can Cause Colorectal Cancer

A study published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute found that calcium carbonate can reduce the risk of developing all types of colon polyps. In the study there were 913 patients diagnosed with polyps who were given 1,200 mg of calcium carbonate or a placebo. The most profound change was on those with advanced polyps who lowered their risk to one-third that of the placebo group. So… calcium is now for more than just strengthening bones.

Folate and B6 Are Used To Fight Colorectal Cancer

If you want to prevent a reoccurrence of colorectal polyps, then make sure you are taking 400 mcg of folate and 2 mg of B6 each day. Researchers at UCLA found in a study of 1,000 people that this was the amount necessary to turn folate into a cancer fighting machine. People in the study who were taking these amounts had a 39% lower chance of having polyps reoccur. So…even if you have never had polyps, include folate and B6 in your diet as it may prevent you from getting them.
